VISIT LEWISBURG.

Lewisburg, West Virginia not only needed a new tourism website, but also needed to build a cohesive marketing strategy that tied together their print, digital, and social projects. First we designed the “Visit Lewisburg” logo and a branding guide to move forward. Out of this we created a cohesive look across print ads, social graphics, downtown brochure, and more. We built a database of every restaurant, shop, and service to display on the new website, with each “category” designated a color. Across the downtown brochure, website, and social posting, these category colors remain consistent. The website also features a dining video that we shot. We created an editable Google Map that any mobile user can save in their Google Map App and easily find each store or restaurant or activity. The site also features newsletter integrations, social media links, branded videos, photo gallery, and more. While it serves as the landing page of the organization’s tourism efforts, all outbound advertising efforts follow its look and feel.

"Small towns are faced with heavy competition and small businesses are faced with heavy competition. To properly promote Lewisburg, WV, we knew we had to go big to compete. Of course we did print, but we went bigger with video by having Havenbrook Media produce a series of targeted videos showing the layers of our town and region. We have also worked with Havenbrook on our social media posting and reach via Facebook and Instagram. Many of the photos used on our social media platforms come from Havenbrook and their growing libraries. In print, video and electronic media we have been fortunate to have Havenbrook’s talents to help us continue to achieve our goals. " — Aaron Maxwell, President, LDBA.
